George Richard Graham was born on 12 July 1822 at Three Fathom Harbour, Halifax Co, Nova Scotia. The 1901 census has the date of birth as 11 July 1823.2 He was the son of George Graham and Sophia Elizabeth Conrad. George Richard Graham was baptized on 22 September 1822 at St John's Anglican Church, Preston, Halifax Co, Nova Scotia.2 He married Mehitable Dukeshire, daughter of William Dukeshire and Mary Watt, on 18 November 1847 at St Edward's Church, Clementsport, Annapolis Co, Nova Scotia; by Rev W M Godfrey.3 George Richard Graham died on 30 October 1910 at Bear River, Digby Co, Nova Scotia.4      He and Mehitable Dukeshire lived between 1850 and 1852 at Moose River, Clements, Annapolis Co, Nova Scotia.5 George Richard Graham was a mariner between 1850 and 1854.5 He and Mehitable Dukeshire appeared on the census of between 1891 and 1901 at Hillsburg District, Digby Co, Nova Scotia.6,7 George Richard Graham was a ships carpenter on 8 April 1891.6
