Adelbert D Clayton was born circa 1878 at Bridgetown, Annapolis Co, Nova Scotia.2 He married Laura V Hudson, daughter of Alonzo Hudson and Ellen Rafuse, on 4 November 1907 at Annapolis, Annapolis Co, Nova Scotia. Laura and Adelbert were married in the Annapolis Baptist church by Rev. D. H. Simpson with Frank Barteaux and Mrs. D. H. Simpson as witnesses. Adelbert was 29, born circa 1878 in Bridgetown, a mariner, and living in Parker's Cove. Laura was 23 and living in Parker's Cove.3
