John V Thomas was born circa 1834 at Nova Scotia.2 He married Mary Lois Haydn Chute, daughter of John Chute and Eliza Potter, on 30 January 1879.1       John V Thomas was also known as V John Thomas.2 He and Mary Lois Haydn Chute appeared on the census of 9 April 1891 at Bear River District, Annapolis Co, Nova Scotia.2
