Stephen came to the US as a young man. He went west to Binghamton where he settled after his marriage to Delphine Monroe. He worked as a conductor on the street cars when they were horse drawn and later electrically driven. Henry Green believes he did some farming. As he remembers him, he was a salesman of real estate and other things. After retirement he lived in Elmira, NY with his daughter Louise. He died in Elmira of a heart attack. He had helped remove a tree from the street after a severe windstorm. |
