Sarah Morehouse was born on 25 December 1805.1 She married Sydney Smith McDermand, son of James McDormand and Anna Rice, at Centreville, Digby Co, NS, There is a disagreement about who Sarah was. Brian McDormand has her as Sarah Titus who first married a Morehouse. I have followed Ross McCurdy's lineage for Sarah.1 Sarah Morehouse died on 31 August 1878 at Port Burwell, Elgin Co, ON.1 She was buried after 31 August 1878 at Estherville Cemetery, Bayham Township, Elgin Co, ON.1
