The 1881 census lists her age as 33 which is consistent with a birth year of 1848.1,2 She married William Alcorn, son of Thomas Alcorn and Dorothy Ammerette Berry, on 31 December 1873 at Brookfield, Queens Co, NS.3
     Ethelinda Beals was also known as Linda Beals.4 She and William Alcorn resided between 1891 and 1901 at Bear River District, Annapolis Co, NS.5,6
